10 Good Reasons to Simulate a Business Using Business Simulation Software..

Following on from last week's blog about where Business Simulation stimulates a better business environment - it strikes me that some people out there would be thinking "is this for me"?

As I'm now really looking to build a capable competent channel to champion a capable competent product, below - are 10 good reasons why I think it would.

Have a read through and feel free to comment or ask for more information:

1) Your clients get a… Continue

Why S(t)imulating Business is a really good direction to follow..

Following a recent decision to become involved in business simulation - I thought I would share some further thoughts on why undertaking this activity will pay many dividends in just 3 key situations common currently..

1) Consider Business Angels (or Dragon's Den if you prefer). They invest in businesses showing future potential. Do all of those businesses succeed? No. Do some break even? Yes. Do some go on and become profitable 'cash cows'? Sure. But let's consider the… Continue

The Rise of the Individual..

I put a small paper together on this you can read below at your leisure.

Before that though - consider this - it's a story about a guy called Dave Carroll. A guitarist and singer in a band who travelled on United Airlines and they smashed his $1200 guitar.

He complained (quite rightly) and United who at first ignored him and then finally told him they would not pay out a claim.

Livid and a guitar down - Dave set about using social media to help right things. In… Continue

The poor buy stuff, the middle classes buy liabilities and the wealthy buy ASSETS - what do you buy?

Being self employed now for some time has caused me to strip out a LOT in my life that doesn't in some way allow us to gain income or capital acquisition from what we have around us.

Let me give you some personal examples:

1) Property - I restored a house over a 5 year period. It darned near killed me but I did a good job. I put about £100k on it's value above the cost (yes, that's prices as of now - not in 2007 peak) and now we are looking for Monday… Continue

Simulation and experience DOES MATTER

Having recently started to work with Doug Holman of New Dimension Enterprises - it's clear that the whole arena of simulation does matter - indeed it matters a great deal.

Following a conversation with Doug yesterday - have a look at the embedded video of the infamous US flight forced to land in the Hudson River (incidentally - news of that event actually made news first via Twitter from the ferry and it's passengers who went to the rescue of the stricken aircraft in the ice-cold… Continue

Getting started with Business Incubation..

Happy New Year! And what a great year 2010 is going to be. Many people are changing career, shifting the balance of their lives and searching for things that give them more fulfillment on a personal as well as professional level.Enter…See More
